For those who love the simplicity of old fire starting techniques, here a Steel Striker and Flint. The Striker is crafted from recycled (worn-out) high carbon files. When struck against the flint they will produce bright and hot sparks which you can use to light your tinder (ideally char cloth).
The set includes:
- A tissue bag
- A steel striker
- Some tinder in a metal can
- A natural tinder in a small bundle
- One flint stone

It is a full set for fire making!

To make your own char cloth simply burn any thick cotton fabric (old jeans, etc) without oxygen (for example inside a closed can at a campfire - for safety pierce a little pressure release hole). Collecting natural tinder is also an option and a great way of getting acquainted with your surroundings.
