Regarding installation. My thought is to make the outside frame as shown in the rough drawing. This frame can be screwed on the inner flange which is 0.5 inch. A pivot hinge (female) is to be welded as shown in the photo. This frame is how the door will be hung. The door 23inch will also have the pivot hinge (male) welded. The important measurement is the width and height of the door is 23inches and to make the opening of the frame just slightly bigger to fit this door so that it can be opened and closed without binding. The inner flange of the frame is 0.5inch. The outer flange should be 1.5inches ss shown in my drawing and primarily serves as a moulding to cover the exposed edges of the plywood. As mentioned, the frame will be installed by screwing the inner flange to the wood the door to be hung by sliding the door on to the pivot hinges. In other words what I’m asking for is a door and frame product with welded hinges on the left (outswing) and a welded simple bolt door lock and latch. With regards to the door lock, we can modify the wood framing such that the bolt can work properly with the latch.
